I have recently splashed out on a new P.C, after years of hogging my partners machine. It is an Athlon XP 1600 (Palomino) processor with 256mb of DDR RAM and 40 Gb of hard disk capacity all of which ensures that Windows XP operates at a very respectable speed.

The graphics sub system is led by Nvidia`s GeForce2 Ti and my eyes are looked after by the 17" CTX EX710F Natural Flat Monitor, which produces vibrant images and has strong resolution support. This a definite boost for Web design tasks.

The package shipped with onboard AC97 codec sound and stereo speakers, Pioneer 16x DVD ROM and a Mirai 40x/24x/10x CD-RW.

My internet moments are provided by Freeserve through a 56k Sparkle Rockwell modem. Oh, there`s a 3.5 Floppy Disk Drive too!
